Very solid! I'll modify what I'm saying then. If you're going to do mostly strip vs. track then the Roush may be the better option. If you can get it to hook you should go low-mid 10's
Ok then I would DEFINITELY get the 2018. Add the supercharger later. Lots of great track goodies on the new ones. You might also want to consider the A10 - you'll probably go faster (may not be as fun though).

Absolutely 110% correct sir.
The guy who built the motor for my '68 took his car to one of those chassis dyno "contests" at a Car Craft show. At that time it would run between 10.40-10.80 depending on the track and weather. It laid down a solid 385HP on the dyno. Some guy with a...
Are you planning to take it to the track? If so, then I would get the 2018 and get all the track goodies and wider wheels/tires. Learn to drive it on the track (best upgrade is always fix the loose nut behind the wheel before you mod it). Upgrade the power when you can put down some good lap...
I just bought (yesterday) a 2017 Roush GTPP 401A with the Ford Performance sway bars and lowering springs. It has 5300 km (3300 miles) on it. I paid C$50k, which at todays exchange (1.27 USD/CAD) = US$39,370
So to me it should be lower. Or I got a great deal. How many miles on it?
Chassis dyno results are relative to that car, on that day, on that dyno. Trying to generalize '18 engine performance from one chassis dyno is irrelevant.
Put a '17 GTPP and an '18 GTPP on the SAME dyno, on the SAME day and you have a comparison. Otherwise its just nonsense.
Chassis dyno's...
Old and new
I just picked up a Roush Supercharged '17 GTPP. My '68 convertible needed a stable mate! I've really admired the S550's since they came out but for some reason I just HAD to have this one.
I thought the '68 was a brute with a stroked 390 (445 ci) and 500 HP, 550 ft-lbs. But...
