I've decided to sell my M-6675-M52S GT500 oil pan kit. The oil pan was intended for my coyote swap fox body project so I also installed MMR billet oil pump gears as well. After looking at how tight the compartment is I ended up going with a swap pan to avoid any fitment issues. I had planned...
If you're good at turning wrenches this might not be as bad as it sounds. The pedals and harness swap will probably be the hardest part. The auto ECU needs to be swapped out for a manual ECU.
Ive seen The Parts Farm advertise auto to manual swap kits for $2,500ish. The kit comes with mostly...
Would somebody with the wiring diagram for the 2018+ be willing to share the crank position sensor wiring diagram. I would like to know which pins on the sensor correspond to 12V, Signal Reference, and Signal Out.
Up to 2017 Ford used a 2 wire sensor so my wiring diagrams are useless.
Thanks.
@NGOT8R - The picture you posted really helps...thanks. In looking at the picture the crank sensor
is the 2018+ part based on where the gasket is placed on the sensor and where the tab is located on the electrical side.
@tdstuart - Thanks for confirming that the plug on the Gen 2 harness...
Thank you. The fact that you have a 2019 and the OEM 2 wire sensor worked with your harness is very helpful to know. The Ford connector catalog shows the 2019 Mustang using a 3 wire connector for the crank position sensor which threw me for a loop.
The Ford connector catalog is supported by...
Can any of the experts here confirm if Ford changed the Gen 3 crank position sensor to a 3 wire hall effect from the 2 wire reluctor used on the Gen 1 and Gen 2 engines?
Progressive springs feel weird because the spring rate is progressive. I started with the progressive springs and FPS shocks and struts because I just wanted to lower the car with better dampers. As I became more comfortable with the car I added the subframe bushings, cradle lockout, LCA...
More than likely quality control issues at Ford, but I could be way off. Was the hardware that came with your valve covers bagged with part numbers? I am blown away by how difficult it is to find part numbers for these bolts.
I've had a set of these valve covers in storage for quite a while (over a year) and am finally getting around to installing them. Like the OP, the boxes that were sent to me were void of any hardware. After this much time I don't expect the FRPP dealer to provide hardware, I should have opened...
I am making some changes to a project that I'm working on and don't need near the amount of fuel any more so I am selling an set of brand new ID1700-XDS injectors. The injectors have have never been installed, had power connected to them, or even mocked up for that matter. 4 of the 8...
Anybody ever get a good answer from Callies or figure something out?
I called them recently and it wasn't an impressive conversation. First I was told I can use the stock bolt. When I explained the thread is not M12 but 1/2-20 the guidance was to buy a grade 8 bolt from ace hardware. After...
