Okay mine kind of sounds like that, Iām probably just tripping and overthinking then. Waiting on wengerd to get back to me so i can really drive this thingš
Hmm I might need to check that mine is operating correctly, I donāt hear that traditional woosh sound at all when i let off throttle, only some air blowing on acceleration - or maybe my exhaust is too loud. What rpm can you start hearing it at?
For those of you with the tial bov, can you hear it from the cabin with window down? I hear a lot of air noises up there when my rpms get high, but I donāt really hear the pshh sound when i let off
Did my second log today, 3-6k rpm, even on a slow throttle to 6k it pulled so hard. Genuinely canāt even believe an idiot like me got this car to start and not break 2 miles into driving. I appreciate all of you guys for helping. Now the only part that scares me is how loud my damn engine bay...
Yeah I just got the optioned one from ESS, the VMP plug and play. I guess this one doesnāt need to be drilled if you mount it in the panel , makes it easier for me, I didnāt need to pull the panel off, just removed the foam underneath it by lifting it up. Just need to go find some sandpaper
Check out that 3 minute video I linked, he used the provided sticky velcro to stick it behind the door panel, and just grounded it through the hole thats already drilled, I have the same kit as him. Was he wrong or is the advice for drilling from a different kit? Mine is the plug and play
Okay I am really confused right now, what exactly do I have to use a drill for?
I watched this guys guide and there was no drill used
Do I not just sand down this spot that the bolt from the fpdm was previously in, then ground it there?
Cool, do you know if that door trim piece has to come off? Or is seat bottoms off the only clearance I need. Struggling to find a good guide for this one
another quick dumb question, about to get started on bap, is this all just sound deadening stuff? Never seen this tape in the other install videos, can i just strip it all?
Yeah Iām about to get started on this soon, I know this sounds dumb but I literally have only used a drill once in my life for my front splitter lol. Another obstacle ahead š«”
