They could have done so much better with the rear of this car. Call me picky but it would be a deal breaker for me at any level of performance.

I think you missed your calling. You could probably do well as a car buying consultant. Let people fill out a profile and then you can tell them what vehicle they are permitted to buy.

I can attest to the Tundra quality. I have an 2007 and a 2019 with 200k miles between them. My son has a 2019 and a 2008 Tacoma, daughter has a 4Runner. Zero issues with any of them and build quality is excellent.
