It does when you're in the drivers seat but if you sit in the passenger seat Driver mode makes it sound like some of the speakers have their polarization flipped and you can only hear the speaker in the right door because the mode boosts it so much.
Basically its good when you're the only one...
Every car I've had with steering wheel controls had the volume on the right. The display for my car is in front of me and my radio is to the right, why would the steering wheel controls be the opposite of that :P
I say stick with DIB as well. If I get a newer car it wonāt be until they add it back. Kona looks flat and dark in comparison. Not saying itās bad just not my preference and when I got my car there was a Kona Blue ā15 LE right beside the DIB when I compared them. Also the pics some guy posted...
I was on a drive yesterday and did a stretch and knocked down the safety switch behind the clutch. I looked under there for a bit and I can't quite tell where it was mounted.
Can someone with a 15-17 6 speed take a picture of the switch behind the clutch for me so I can see where it is supposed...
First reply beat me to it. I had the projectors replaced because of distortion that was happening. My Evap core went out this past summer and had that replaced as well.
One thing I noticed when it is set to Driver:
If you get out of the car and sit in the passenger seat the sound stage is completely out of whack to the point where it messes with your ears.
The driver setting is really made for just the driver. That said in the driver seat I do like it.
Asheville, NC here. I drove to work during the big snow storm, made it fine but was sketchy still has summer tires on. Switched to DWS06 all seasons and was leaving work when we had the ice more recently and the town was gridlocked but I had no issues other than the long drive.
No rust at all...
I initially wasn't going to get the performance pack, but after a test drive I felt the standard car was floaty (as you describe) and handled like a boat (sorry :P). Time for some upgrades? Also, as some have said, make sure your tires are properly inflated. 32lbs is too low, 36+ imo.
I have had my car over two years and I still get constant compliments. In the last week Iāve had two people roll their windows down at stop lights and tell me the exhaust sounds amazing (Corsa Sport catback which seems fairly quiet inside but I learned just recently after hearing another one...
I can get 4.5 seconds on the carās timer completely stock (other than a Corsa catback) with a shift to third just before 60...warmed up Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires though. May be able to do better, Iāve only tried a handful of times in the 2+ years Iāve had the car :p.
