People say "short runner intake", "GT350 intake", "box intake", "long runner intake". I think you could have cleared a lot up with the term "air intake". That is always your filter -> throttle body. An "intake" usually is referred to as the intake manifold.

So did my open engine bay filter setup. What's your point? When air is being pushed through the engine bay at speeds this happens. It has nothing to do with your design. Please stop acting like this is an accomplishment due to design.

Well lets look at it then, maybe I missed something... So it sounds like MAYBE hotter engine bay temps were leaking into the unsealed box which resulted in hot air being circulated into the intake? :shrug: I think that is what the user was thinking at least... Seems Steeda thinks that's a-ok...

Not to get off topic but what happened to the SRT4? Around 2007 they were everywhere, you literally couldn't go for a drive without seeing one. Now you are lucky if you can find one every 3 months.

I've thought it over quite a bit and I think I'm going to give the M6 a shot. I've seen some people have good luck with them and power so I'll see how well I can do. Thanks for swaying me somewhat millhouse.

I love a MT...loooove a MT. But the transmission with this car just has me worried. I've searched and come up with thread after thread of these breaking and I do not want to go down that road. I'd like them to be bulletproof like the T56 were so I can take it to the track and never lift...
