  1. 2019 Bullitt MPG -- am I lucky?

26 on the readout is about right for a road trip. As someone stated, it's probably an optimistic number in reality. My '08 Bullitt reads about 1 mpg high and my '18 Roush is about 2 mpg high when I hand calculate it. On a recent road trip my Roush calculated a little over 25 and showed 27 on...
  2. Mustang Photograph of the Month Contest – September 2023

Taken at the Roush museum on my way back to the hotel from the Woodward Dream Cruise.
  3. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

I got a new tune in early March when they replaced the cats (again). I've got a 6 speed, but definitely noticed a change in the tune. Wide open throttle smells like bad cats. I assume it dumps fuel to try to keep them cool. It's been through some aggressive driving and so far, so good. It was...
  4. Mustang Photograph of the Month Contest – June 2023

About a month ago the ground in the back was completely black because of controlled burning in the pastures. Fortunately we've had decent rain and the pastures are looking good.
  5. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Since the new cats and tune I've noticed a definite odor at full throttle. I assume it's a fuel dump to try to save the cats. It's way more noticeable with the latest tune than the previous.
  6. Quick Jack owners

Not sure of exact height (but it's something like 18" of lift). I have removed transmissions with regular jack stands under the car, and these go significantly higher. The trick becomes being able to get to everything without having access from the side of the car. Shouldn't be a problem with...
  7. Quick Jack owners

I slide them in from the side. I think there are even instructions saying not to run over them. You'd take a big chance on breaking the hydraulics if you did. The 7000lb ones are a bit heavy, but they do slide. On my Roush I could get them under the car with the shortest blocks before I...
  8. Quick Jack owners

Here's what I have: I have jacking rails, but I also used them when it was just hitting the pinch seam both front and back. You can move them front to back, but not really inside to outside. They need to line up with the pinch seam to lift the car. It's possible you might need to use the...
  9. Installed the ROUSH lower grill & splitter and now car is bottoming out on driveways? is this normal?!?!

I thought I was doing well with my RS2 until I crawled under it last week to change oil. I've got a few scrapes, which I expected to see, but the front corner of the splash shield apparently hit something pretty hard and put a hole in it. It's mostly there, so function wise I just need to glue...
  10. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

I just noticed the paperwork I got from the upgraded tune said something about "replaced intake tube" as part of the warranty work. Does anyone know what that's about?
  11. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

I just had mine into the dealer for the second time to replace cats. They also updated the tune while it was there. All done under warranty with a phase 2 setup bought used (currently at 22k miles). I don't know who actually paid for it, but the dealer is Roush certified and was the one that...
  12. Sheet Metal Thickness

The .068 appears to be in inches instead of millimeters. It's pretty close to 14 gauge. The mm measurement would be approximately 1.75mm. Wouldn't surprise me if it's 1.5mm sheetmetal plus the paint thickness, but that's just a guess.
  13. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

As quoted from the Ford warranty guide: " — 8 years or 80,000 miles (whichever occurs first) for catalytic converters, electronic emissions control unit, and onboard emissions diagnostic devices, including the Battery Energy Control Module (BECM). — 2 years or 24,000 miles (whichever occurs...
  14. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Took the Roush to the dealership yesterday morning and came away with 2 new catalytic converters and a tune. The previous tune was from October of '21. This was cat number 2 and 3. It's been to the same dealer both times, so they were very easy to work with. Even with the new tune, I'll...
