  1. Getrag MT82-D4 beginning issues?

Is it just one particular gear like going 2nd to 3rd? Or, is it all gears. If only one, might be a shift fork. If multiple, then Iā€™d say clutch. Iā€™ve got a late model ā€˜18 (built May 2018) M6. Supposedly, this was after the shift fork update. Iā€™ve not heard many issues with shift forks after the...
  2. Shocked by medical billing.

I refuse to pay anything before I get an EOB from my insurance carrier. Iā€™ve walked out of an MRI before because they would not perform the procedure without prepayment. They can sometimes get the amount you will owe from insurance, but I still refuse to pay in advance.
  3. Shocked by medical billing.

This has to be one of the biggest headaches for patients. Like we are supposed to ask every single person we see if they are in our network. Oh, where are you sending my blood work? Are they in network? Fā€™ing ridiculous. If the hospital is in network, then the doctors working there and the labs...
  4. Why do I only get 7200 rpm instead of 7500?

My 2018 M6 seems to hit the hard limiter at about 7700-7800 rpm (stock tune). It will definitely go past 7500 at least according to the in dash tach (301A, so not digital gauges). I find shifting at 7000-7200 seems to get me the best ET. However, since I trap in 3rd gear, Iā€™m usually right at...
  5. Telematics Fuse #8

Nope, 301A. It is a PP2, so they may have just been picking up parts and throwing them on there. šŸ¤£ It used to be called SYNC Connect before it was called FordPass Connect.
  6. Telematics Fuse #8

My 2018 (built 5/3/2018) has the modem, but the telematics fuse is #10 (which btw has been pulled since day 1).
  7. Which Drag Radial for Street? Nitto NT555 RII or Mickey Thompson ET Street SS - 305/45R17

Iā€™ve ran both the R2 and the M/T Street SS. I think both tires are similar in traction, but I think the R2ā€™s need a little more heat in them to match the M/Tā€™s. I ran the R2ā€™s on the street all the time. I only run the M/Tā€™s basically to get to the track and back home. On the street, I think the...
  8. Inflation

BINGO! Look at the increase in the money supply. Thatā€™s whatā€™s to blame for inflation. Too much money chasing too few goods.
  9. Interstate debris damage

Make sure to mention that the object was moving when you hit it. Comprehensive vs collision claim. A stationary object is considered collision.
  10. Comparing GEN 3 Coyote Engine to Gen 2 Coyote Engine: Which Prevails and Why?

Hereā€™s a pretty good read on the Coyote. You can decide for yourself. https://www.motortrend.com/how-to/depth-look-evolution-coyote-engine/
  11. would you

Mine is certainly no investment. But, it sure is a FToF! (translation = Fu*k Ton of Fun)
  12. would you

My Mustang has never seen rain or snow, going on six years now. My wife and I actually have seven vehicles between the two of us. The snow beater is usually the ā€˜05 4Runner or one of the Grand Cherokees.
  13. Big insurance increase (State Farm)--anyone else?

I donā€™t necessarily disagree with you, but itā€™s all a part of their risk management to spread that risk across the board. Similar to health insurance for older vs younger. Thatā€™s what insurance is, spreading or transferring the claims risk. Maybe we need to look at why the underlying costs of...
  14. More media doom and gloom BS

I used to at least try and read some of this crap just to see how irrational their logic could get, but itā€™s just getting too fā€™in stupid anymore to even waste the time.
  15. Shocked by medical billing.

My wife recently broke her foot. Since I had recently retired, our medical coverage had changed. When our old insurance (whom the claim was originally submitted to) denied the claim, the hospital offered me a 70% no-coverage discount. The total bill was just shy of $10K, so with the discount...
