2016 Ford Mustang Ecoboost Premium. Turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with 310HP, but still gets over 33mpg. Automatic with paddle-shifters, leather interior with heated/cooled seats, power everything, Shaker stereo, touchscreen, Bluetooth, completely loaded. 117,000 ALL highway miles, putting...
Still going strong at 115,000 miles. I had to replace some little $40 hose on top of the engine (got a "check engine" light, forget what code), and did replace the front tires and spark plugs at 100k, but everything else runs like the day I got it. Still has the original brakes on it ( ! )...
Sorry, I spoke too soon: the new giant station at the Sidney exit is a Love's, not a Casey's. I know the one you are talking about. I stopped for gas on my way home yesterday, and there was a 70-cent difference in price per gallon between unleaded and premium. Again, that can really add up...
I live in the area and commute as well. The only new Casey's I know is the one at the Sidney exit off I-75 - is that the one you are referring to? If so, I have not filled up there - as many on here say, I also only stick to the top tier stations. It is not worth it IMO to save a few cents...
Living way out in the country FTW. My neighbor (the only one within a one mile radius) and I have a competition to see who can get down the (perfectly flat, level, and straight-as-an-arrow) road to our driveways the fastest. I think my EB barely has him beat at something north of 3x the speed...
Just to bring this topic (for me at least) to a close, I found someone at work who let me borrow his OBDII reader/clearer, and in about 3 minutes (with no instruction or direction) had the code cleared. That was a couple of days ago, and things have been great ever since.
For those who may be...
Thank you for the responses folks. I did look at the Amazon link from 'Hinzel' on the OBDLinkMX, and I agree that would probably be overkill for what I need (but nice to have!). Yomamma219, do you have any recommendations for the $20-30 readers? And are these just readers or do they clear...
Yes, I realize I am bringing back a 15+ month old thread, but it is either this or start yet another one on this same topic.
Just got the P144C code with the "check engine" light a few weeks ago. 2016 EB with about 92k miles on it, so not too surprised - this is the first issue I have had with...
My grandfather bought a 1966 Mustang (brand new) off the showroom floor. He passed it down to my dad, who has passed it on to me. 37,000 original basically one-owner (one-family?) miles. We still have the window sticker.
Fast-forward 25 years later when I had graduated college and was in the...
I don't like the shift points on my 6-speed - it holds each gear for too long. Like I said before, my car seems to run out of steam above about 5k RPM, so I like to "force" the shift at a little below that, again, ensuring that I am in the power band of second gear when it shifts. And I have...
