In the same boat, but I messed up my hood matte stripe. Haven't found anything inexpensive so far.

I live on a dirt road in a wooded area so there is always dust flying around and debris from the trees. I also have a black S550 so it is hard to keep clean. I wash it just about every week. I just purchased some Black Light and Butter Wet Wax from Chemical guys to put on this weekend...

We like what we like and that includes a number of makes. We currently have a 2005 Jeep Wrangler X and a 2000 Jeep Cherokee. Then a 2015 GMC Sierra. And the 2015 Ford Mustang GT Premium. Here are three of them after a wash a week or so ago.

Yep, my Oxford White 14 GT Premium had a little difference from plastic to metal painted parts. It didn't bother me much. White mustangs look so good.

I'll have to try the meticulous matte from Chemical Guys. Yeah, some of the black from the stripe transferred to my towel so it likely took the top matte finish off, or melted it leaving it glossy. I would hate to have to have the hood stripe redone.

Anyone use any products to maintain or restore matte black vinyl? I done messed up. I was cleaning some tree sap off of my truck and noticed a little on the mustang's black matte vinyl stripes. I used a little bit of goo gone and it took the sap right off but it also took a little of the...
