    People who have their ecobost were purchased before the recall was announced internally and public. Not any different than buying anything else and their ends up being a recall for some fire hazard or choking hazard

    Glad to hear the good news. Taking a long trip with an extreme heat could have affect the components. Im awaiting parts for mine as well. I'll update when I see mine arrive.

    So talked to my boss. Parts are available but of course they are on back order already. so he ordered the parts for my car.

    On hotter days man the underside of the car gets hot especially from the passenger side. Feels like a heat gun pointed at your legs. I can tell why they adding additional shielding

    I work in the parts department and I have an ecoboost, still no parts have come through. Don't think they are available yet.

    yes there is some highway drone, but its not to loud. but soon as you accelerate especially in 6 gear, drones like a mf-er. But eh i dont care honestly.

    I think the y is kit exclusive for now. Being that the exhaust is welded cat back, most exhaust manufacturers will only offer Y pipes as a kit with either Catback or turbo back because it just sounds stupid for everyone to cut their exhaust for axle back mufflers and then have to cut it again...

    having the ecoboost engine open after i installed the Y pipe didnt sound half bad, i was surprised how tame the exhaust was, it was still loud, but being after the cat it wasnt ridiculous. Couldve easily driven around town with open Y pipe. But any time you have a exhaust dumped that that close...
