I asked the same question, Ford just kept telling me the same story it was because my oxford white GT was ordered with a black roof that's why it was delayed for over 2 months.

Was so fast but was also not very happy with Ford given my oxford white GT was ordered in Jan 2016 and only just arrived almost 15 months latter. Yet my son had a grabber blue Gt within 2 weeks and the car was built after mine and arivied almost 2 months earlier.

It's a new grabber blue mustang, my son found it about to arrive in Perth which was on the Tamerlane in early February. Called up the dealer, done all the paper work and within 2 weeks had the car on the door steep in Melbourne still with all its wrapping on.

Had both GT's out on the weekend now for the fun times ahead with my son.

It's kind of funny how the customer has to teach the salesman how to follow an order and totally agree that Ford AU should be providing the dealers with as much information as possible and training them up to track Mustang orders so that they can give customers more accurate updates.
