Welp, I finally replaced the factory battery for my 16 delivered Sept 30, 2015; almost 8 years on it. Got in today and absolutely nothing. No fuel pump, no solenoid, no lights.
Once I got a new battery installed I noticed I left a map light on inside, so it's possible a charge could have...
He probably just assumed nothing's changed since the 15-17s. I know if I put exactly 8 in mine it's about in the middle of the good zone on the dipstick. If I put 8.5 it would probably be right at the top of the zone.
With the 18+ needing 10 qts, if they put in 8.5 in and your dipstick reads...
I assume all of us who already had it fixed under warranty won't need to go in again. My backup stopped displaying several years ago, so I brought it in, and they replaced the wiring through the trunk and changed from a soft nylon sleeve to hard plastic. Clearly wasn't my dealer's first rodeo
For #3, I just use a WeatherTech CupFone and run the charging cable to the USB port in the center console (there's even a little notch so you can close the lid without pinching the cable). But I also almost always drive by myself, so if you have a need for both cupholders, this wouldn't be ideal.
I don't get rainbows on the windshield and don't have any problems with the instrument cluster (don't have the digital dash being a 16) or infotainment, but I do get rainbows/oil slick if I wear polarized sunglasses with the visor down on my helmet for track days. So I have a separate pair of...
As far as the creature comforts go, I had a rental with a heated steering wheel and it's going to be a must for my next car. Wearing 20 layers in the dead of winter, it takes heated seats a while to burn through all those layers, so by that point the engine is warm and I can just run the heat...
Of the choices listed, I picked deep dish, but Chicago thin crust is my actual favorite. Cracker-thin crispy crust, tavern cut, with sausage. Deep dish is the special occasion, take out your tourist friends pizza. Chicago thin is the pizza you get on a regular basis.
I have the one linked below; it's served me well since the fob started pulling open all the time, but I don't want to superglue it together and lose access to the backup key.

It seems to depend on the dealer, but the coasts seem to get it worse with the ADM. The dealer near me doesn't do ADM, but he will hold firm at sticker for the high-demand stuff.
Last 4th of July weekend I pretty much filled the trunk and back seats with fireworks (bill of lading said 230 lbs worth, 7 cases/37 cakes), suitcase behind the passenger seat, big tote bag with more fireworks equipment and some snack foods on the passenger seat case of bottle water and 2 cases...
I'd suggest taking a big roundabout drive to the store to get it fully warmed up and then some, and see if it goes away. I get this if it's been sitting for a few weeks (I got it when I got back from 3 weeks out of town over Christmas), but it doesn't come back after the first drive. And I'm...
My 2016 was repaired under warranty because the soft nylon around the wiring chafed from opening and closing the trunk, and they replaced it with hard plastic.
