Ya those look like the carbon wheels to me. Who knows what it sold for. Could have been a bait and switch or an undisclosed issue. The market is down right now but that car should at least be in the 70s.
Got to love when GT350s live rent free in some people's head.
I grew up on 4.6 Cobras and love hi-revving motors in general so the so called lack of low end torque doesn't bother me. I think if these cars came with 4.10 gears stock, this wouldn't even be a discussion for some people. The car has long legs so it's not easy to hit 8250 driving around town...
I use Jackpoint Jackstands and neither of my jacks are low enough to lift the front with their jack pad. So I'll use a lift pad for the rear to initially jack the car up, then use another jack to lift the front. It's a couple extra steps but I like these jackstands. Jacking rails to me are...
I don't have a dealer recommendation but I had the same thing happen to my 20R last year. The thermostat was essentially stuck open. Dealer simply replaced it and all was good. It should be a quick and easy fix for them.
I've had my car since new and so far the motor has been good in the 8K miles I have on it. I have no plans on selling it unless they build another one that looks, sounds, and drives better than this one. If my motor goes, I'll rebuild it...and it will always have a Voodoo.
On that Kona 18R, those look like the real carbon wheels to me. Looks like they have another 18R around the same price too. That one looks to be running another set of wheels though.
I honestly don't see it as a jab. There was a video where they talked about having it even higher on the earlier prototypes but the car was making less torque so they brought it back down. This car optioned out with the Z07 package has a 170K MSRP without the dealer markups...it's just not in...
It was this article below and they were just talking about the oil filter backing off on the earlier models. I don't really see it as throwing shade.
It sounds like GM had the time and money to build this new motor without any compromises. I would love for Ford to respond to this and build...
