  1. I think I castrated my Shelby….and I’m not happy about it

This guy. You think these cars are slow? Go try to follow one in the canyons or on a road course.
  2. Is it just me or is this a steal? 2020R 16K mile for 66K- shows clean title 1 owner

Ya those look like the carbon wheels to me. Who knows what it sold for. Could have been a bait and switch or an undisclosed issue. The market is down right now but that car should at least be in the 70s. Got to love when GT350s live rent free in some people's head.
  3. Tired of hearing about the Voodoo sound

The Voodoo is living rent free in your head.
  4. Why did you sell your GT350?

I grew up on 4.6 Cobras and love hi-revving motors in general so the so called lack of low end torque doesn't bother me. I think if these cars came with 4.10 gears stock, this wouldn't even be a discussion for some people. The car has long legs so it's not easy to hit 8250 driving around town...
  5. Floor Jack Clearance Issue

I use Jackpoint Jackstands and neither of my jacks are low enough to lift the front with their jack pad. So I'll use a lift pad for the rear to initially jack the car up, then use another jack to lift the front. It's a couple extra steps but I like these jackstands. Jacking rails to me are...
  6. Ford extended warranty questions.

This is exactly what I just got for my car. I just called the Ford Protect number and it was pretty quick and easy.
  7. Carbon wheels

I loosen by hand and tighten them back on the same way, then torque each to 150ft lbs. For tire removal, Hunter Revolution is the machine you want.
  8. Help! Portland Oregon area need dealership referral

I don't have a dealer recommendation but I had the same thing happen to my 20R last year. The thermostat was essentially stuck open. Dealer simply replaced it and all was good. It should be a quick and easy fix for them.
  9. 2016 GT350 R Infestation!

More details on the R.... I like the black and blue combo.
  10. How are Gen 2 Voodoos holding up?

I've had my car since new and so far the motor has been good in the 8K miles I have on it. I have no plans on selling it unless they build another one that looks, sounds, and drives better than this one. If my motor goes, I'll rebuild it...and it will always have a Voodoo.
  11. Ford says Dark Horse has most powerful NA engine so far...this is incorrect!

The headline of the article says "Most powerful 5.0-liter V8 ever". This thread will probably turn ugly soon.
  12. Prices are on the rise......

On that Kona 18R, those look like the real carbon wheels to me. Looks like they have another 18R around the same price too. That one looks to be running another set of wheels though.
  13. Z06 Redline is a jab at the Voodoo…

I honestly don't see it as a jab. There was a video where they talked about having it even higher on the earlier prototypes but the car was making less torque so they brought it back down. This car optioned out with the Z07 package has a 170K MSRP without the dealer markups...it's just not in...
  14. GM Engineer about the 350 fpc.

It was this article below and they were just talking about the oil filter backing off on the earlier models. I don't really see it as throwing shade. It sounds like GM had the time and money to build this new motor without any compromises. I would love for Ford to respond to this and build...
  15. Did GT350 values just get bolstered with the S650 reveal?

Not with a 5.0 Coyote motor. To me the Dark Horse is more of a replacement for the Mach 1.
