Dark Horse premium + Handling Pack + Recaros + Appearance Pack

My build for Dark Horse came out to $76,355. This is same spec of Mach 1 with Handling Pack that I just took delivery of, so about $10k more! I much prefer the more heritage styling of S550 vs new one and really not big fan of the Alibaba ipad gauge screen.

MSRP on my Mach 1 was $68k so while it’s cheaper for sure - its not a cheap car at all.

Yes first thing i did is go as low as possible. Compared to normal cars its low enough but it doesn’t have perfect seating position like my 911 or m3. The seat need to go down another 1-2 inches. The steering wheel positioning is good just wish it was smaller with less buttons. The other...

My car was only built in October and probably should have been delivered by late November. Never got any answers from dealer or Ford. They said no holds on the car but didn’t know why it was waiting to be shipped for so long.

Recaros - they are awesome and just add a sporty look to interior. It was a 2hr drive back home and they are comfortable and offer great support. Obviously sucks to lose power/memory/heat cool features.

It was Built in October and got delivered to dealer in mid January so definitely not ideal time. This weekend was 50 degrees so I was just taking it easy driving from dealer in PA to NY.

Thanks everyone - forgot to mention this is my 1st V8 car. Mostly had BMW inline 6s. I haven’t stepped on it too much due to being in NY and driving on Cup 2s. Can’t wait to properly ring it out.

My Mach1 HP finally got delivered yesterday after sitting waiting to get shipped since mid - October. Order was placed back in March! The dealer promised to honor price when I ordered it. So you’re saying they can also offer rate programs dating back to March 2022?! That would be amazing.

Well the wait continues - from email today: “ Your vehicle’s previous estimated delivery range of December 10, 2022, and December 16, 2022, has been updated to between December 31, 2022, and January 6, 2023.” 3rd or 4th shipment delay now…..

So as a follow up - I got email from Ford that order is submitted. Hopefully it gets built. My 2022 order was submitted in March and car is lost somewhere.

Agreed - this is what I’m afraid of that something happened which is delaying shipping, combined with not being too happy the car is sitting out in the elements for 2 months.
