Every morning when I go out to start my car and let it warm up, when it idles down I hear a chirping noise and I'm not sure what it is. Does anyone else have this noise?
I installed my own with FP Intake and Tune. I have had no issues from FP or my dealer. I used my MacBook with the ProCal app to install it. It's very easy if you can operate a computer.
I updated my car with the new tune on March 31st. I talked to the techs at FP and they said this update is supposed to take care of a flat spot around 5500 RPM. He did say that some people may not have the problem but update it anyway. I personally had this flat spot issue and the new tune...
You should be fine. When I loaded the FP Tune on my car, it allows it to over boost to 24 PSI. Keep in mind too that boost will vary with ambient air temps.
I had the same problem with a brand new TS BOV. No matter how much I adjusted it I still got the same fluttering when I let off at low boost and still had the same whoosh sound through the open intake box at half throttle. The sound you hear at half throttle is not an issue but the fluttering...
Yes. The TS BOV is a POS. I had one on my car and it did feel somewhat stronger but I had too much flutter at lower boost.
I will say that I do hear air at low boost but I'm guessing that is the unwanted air dumping into the intake tube and I'm hearing it through the open intake.
So I went to the track this weekend and the best time I could get out of my car was:
R/T............ .082
60'............. 1.888
330............ 5.576
1/8............ 8.742
MPH........... 77.34
1000........... 11.488
1/4............. 13.823
MPH............ 96.32
What mod should I do next to...
