Aside from performance have you ever experienced the DCT in a 3rd Gen GT500 when down shifting in comparison to the PDK transmission? Like day and night with the DCT often sounding and feeling clunky on downshifts in comparison to the smooth, silky and quiet PDK.

Each to their own and I will remain with my definition of what constitutes a DCT transmission which operates as an automatic transmission but is neither a manual or automatic transmission.

Based on my experience after driving various Porsche models, I would consider the PDK a more refined and better transmission especially when it comes to daily driving and in particular smoother downshifts.
