Are you sure it requires drilling into the case? You can buy 3rd party rev matching units that don't require that. If that is the case then I would guess they won't offer it as an aftermarket FP upgrade. I'm fine rev matching myself but there are times where it would be nice to have. No lift...
LOL hates to be that guy and then is that guy...I can rev match just fine but sometimes it would be nice when commuting to have the feature available. It can be turned on and off when you want it so really not a big deal...let me guess you didn't buy a GT500 because it has a dual clutch and not...
That's my old car, I just haven't updated the picture on here yet. My Instagram is @6ixSpeed_H0504 if you want to 'vet' me. Not everyone has a brother with a GT350 lol ...you seem to be feeling pretty condescending today did your brother pee in your cereal?
I have a 2017 GT350 with 11,000KM on it. I have always loved the idea of pairing the Voodoo with a DCT and I know there's GT500 owners out there that would love a manual. Hoping to find someone whos interests align and be the first to make this happen.
Then go buy them? I just told you they're in the Ford Performance catalog. They obviously are premium if you consider them an upgrade over what comes standard and for Ford if they can charge more for them on the vehicle.
I would love to see another Boss Mustang on the S550 platform. The Mach 1 poses a problem just in terms of product roll out and timing. There would be too many special models overlapping. But it would be awesome
If Ford started offering all those parts then the price would go up and then you would be in GT350 price range. Those parts are premium and Ford has no reason to provide them at anything less than a premium price. As with Porsche you can't option GT3 or GT2 parts onto a non GT division Porsche...
If you want GT350 parts, engineering and performance then buy a GT350! Ford owes you nothing for not buying the GT350. The owe it to the owners of the GT350 who actually forked over the cash for all the extra development. Why would they devalue the GT350 just to make you and oher buyers happy...
The Mach 1 will slot below the GT350...anyone here that thinks it will be equal to or above a GT350 is smoking legal weed lol there is a hierarchy in the Mustang line up.
Shelby cars are like RS Porsches...you don't see other special models like the 911 GTS outperforming the GT3/GT2 line up...
The GT350 is a track focused car with a unique motor, my guess is the Mach 1 will have an uprated 5.0 under hood and be more street oriented (no trans or oil coolers, smaller break kit etc)
My question is would a Dual Plenum intake manifold work if one was custom designed for the GT350? This would improve the performance and sound of the car and would really be a unique aftermarket modification to the car. You see it used a lot on high end performance vehicles.
Does anyone have an...
Owners attempting 'money shifts' should not be blowing these motors. They are supposed to be designed to handle shifting at or near redline without imploding. I love my Voodoo but it should be able to handle a beating. I always ensure I've been at proper temps for a little while before going...
