Congrats on the Z06. It is the best bang for your buck right now as far as I am concerned. It would be my choice as well if it came in a stick. I am glad to hear that GM stands behind the cars they market as "track cars". I am thinking a 4-door ZL1 (aka CT5 Blackwing) would be a decent piece...
OP, sad to see your hard work did not result in what should have been a well earned victory.
I hope Ford realizes there are consequences for their actions. In my case they lose a customer. I purchased the ESP with the understanding that it would protect me in case of major mechanical...
i enjoyed this video from 'driving 4 answers' channel. Mostly a comparison of the new Vette FPC to the cross plane version but close to the end, he talks about why the GT350 FPC is so unique and special even in the FPC world.
Bumping this thread. Just moved to the area and looking for a shop in Lacey/Olympia area to do an inspection for track day.
Thanks in advance for any recommendations. Really looking forward to living in the PNW.
If you have a 2015-18, then you may want to replace the dual clutch springs. It is non-linear and can make it feel jerky when releasing the clutch. Remove or go with a single spring from Steeda or others.
Another thumbs up for AWE switchpath. AWE does not list the GT350 as supported. The one for the Focus RS is the right version to get. Perfect for (barely) passing sound at Laguna Seca.
I have the Barton version. Steeds makes one too. They are for regular Mustangs but will work on GT350. Just needed to remove the o-ring on the shifter so it would slide easily. No noise or rattle.
I have been told Walnut Creek Ford is good. Heard they have done track guys working there and know what they are doing for GT350. Might be close enough for use.
I am looking for a good dealership in SJ as I have warranty work I need done. The local South Bay ones are pretty bad from what I...
I would be interested to know how they diagnosed a bad clutched just based on those symptoms. I have the same symptoms. As you said, they cannot be easily reproduced and the clutch feels fine around town. So his did they figure out it was bad?
