Smashed a curb and broke my PP2 wheel, ruined the bearing too. Swapped both hubs for Ford Performance hubs and referred to this thread for the install. I never connected this thread, however, to the on/off throttle low speed tick I had at low speeds and especially parking lot driving...
I just went back to 5w20 after several fills of 5w30, I am shocked at how much quieter it is now. When the motor was new, it seemed like the 5w30 was quieter.
I've asked before but I'll ask again before try for "close enough". Has anyone found a suitable touch up paint for the Dark Tarnish Stainless wheels? Surely some of you have found the curb rash you've no doubt inflicted on those beautiful wheels unacceptable....
Nice ride! I would guess the popping just might be the spring settling or clocking. If guess it will go away, have someone turn it while you are outside with the hood up and listen.
