  1. Official “Love my Ford Dealership” thread

Love my dealership here in Iowa. Always had a good relationship with them, and they remain a nice place to go, even just to hang out and say hello. They are a model dealership, meaning they were built to be the model for other new dealerships in terms of architecture. Marble floors, high...
  2. GT350 Engine Concerns...

I have no concerns or worry about my engine. My dealer supports a lifetime powertrain warranty (well technically million mile/hundred year) for this car anyway. Don't mod the power train and your fine. Don't put non-recommended fuel in it. Engine problems can happen to any car, but seems very...
  3. Driveway entry angle

I had the same concern. I threw caution to the wind and got the car anyway... ... and scraped on the drive. However, I quickly learned that taking it at about a 45 degree angle gave me a lot more clearance -- no more scraping so long as I take the driveway (and tall speed bumps!) at an angle.
  4. What's the funniest/oddest/ignorant comment someone said about your 350?

Young man: "Wow, nice car! How fast does it go?" Me: "As fast as I want it to." Young man: "Niiiiiice."
  5. Purchasing in the Winter Time

So I live in Iowa. When I bought my GT350, I went ahead and bought another set of wheels from the same dealer and put winter tires on them. I see you are in Wisconsin, so maybe you want that extra set anyway? I'm sure the dealer will cut you some kind of deal if you want to do the same as I did...
  6. 30K miles??

As per S7N; I'd suspect you were on the clutch at least some and you were burning it up. If that is not the case, my apologies, no disrespect meant. If not the clutch, then you may then have some other issue a mechanic needs to diagnose.
  7. Winter Wheel/Tire Options For GT350R?

Michelin Alpins on a square setup, non-carbon fiber. You'll need spacers on the front.
  8. Hidden Key - Who Knew??

When I got mine, they were the first GT350s the dealership had ever gotten their hands on. And it was on the lot for a total of 2 days when I bought mine. The Ford Performance manager (they are also now the only Roush dealer in my state, I believe) sat me down in the car and we went over every...
  9. Test driving a GT350

I put the first test drive miles on the two GT350s my dealership had at the time I was looking to order a GT. But I had a good working relationship with the dealership, and had struck up a positive relationship with the Ford Performance manager there. I was sitting in the Recaros, just to see if...
  10. Oil usage

I don't know what "most" people are. People who aren't having oil issues, like me, simply don't don't have that issue to post.
  11. 2019 Ford Company vehicle for sale

If they offer a full warranty for it, I'd jump on that deal. Maybe haggle down 1 or 2 grand if they will bend a bit, and use that money to buy a second set of wheels/tires for cold weather driving.
  12. Max speed on the GT350

I know of no speed governor, only the rpm redline 8250.
  13. Best Place To Get OEM TPMS?

Assuming that's the right sensor for your car, I would assume you need to at least use the TPMS tool to sync them with the car. Back when I had my '13 Mustang, I bought a set with TPMS in them from American Muscle and got the TPMS tool with it. My memory is far from perfect but I think it is a...
  14. Tires

I keep the stock ones for summer and swap to another set of Michelin Alpins for cold weather/winter driving.
  15. Just bought 2017 GT 350

I keep mine in the glove box. Fits well and I do not have to exit the vehicle if a cop wants to see it. That said, networking with other performance car owners at the local Ames Ford cars and coffee day, no one has been stopped for lacking a front plate in my area in many years. I know the DoT...
