I suspect the dealer is being somewhat optimistic - I was expecting delivery mid November, but I'm just passing on what information I have been given.

I popped into my dealer this afternoon for an update since I haven't heard anything for a while, and was told my car has got a build date of 25th August, and expected delivery date for late September/early October. Didn't have VIN number available though. Here's hoping!
