Not sure about the LL details in Cali, but here in FL if the replacement vehicle MSRP is within 105% of the defective one, it is considered 'equivalent'. So if the old car was $40K, you could select one with a sticker of up to $42K as your replacement.

It won't be, mine had 1250 miles & the fee was around $400. The calc varies by state, but most are very close. In FL it's price paid (less taxes, dealer fees etc.) x miles / 120,000.
The LL booklet that came with the car should have the correct calc for your state.
In FL, anything dealer installed @ the time of sale is considered part of the purchase price. So all my Roush & Steeda stuff, extended warranty, tint, graphics & wheels/tires were rolled in :)
