  1. Test drove a C8...not impressed

Yeah.. turning a dial and mashing a pedal are just underwhelming experiences for a sports car (in My opinion).
  2. Test drove a C8...not impressed

I would suggest a few options: 1. Keep what you have, drive it and enjoy it. 40k isn't a lot of miles on these newer cars, especiallly with the coyote engine. Unless the car is falling apart mechanically or interior wise. 2. A Mach 1- next step up from the GT in the S550 body stye.. no ipads...
  3. After quite a few crappy fitting modifications and losing thousands of dollars on them I am selling my car.

I too went down the mod rabbit hole with my 2016Gt.. too fast.. too soon and ended up hating the car. I learned a valuable lesson about modifications. I ended up selling my 2016 for a loss, so that was painful. It took me 2 more car swaps to finally settle on the 350 It sounds like for the most...
  4. What did you do to your GT350 today?

I I don't know if i'd be brave enough to leave mine in an airport parking lot... Most underground parking garages are door ding city... see you found a spot with a blank on your drivers side. which helps...
  5. I guess I've been in a cave; new 26 Mustang GT well equipped for 64-67k??!!

Saw a 2025 GT Convertible at my local dealership for 70k msrp.. INSANE.... Even with discounts these new Mustangs are waaaay overpriced. It's a shame... trying to keep the car community alive and young people cannot afford these prices even used.. much less a house..
  6. Hood Struts for a 2015 Mustang GT

Yikes! I hope your head is ok... .
  7. GT 350 Brake Question

The stock rotors and pads are amazing. I track 1-2 times a year and so I leave the stock stuff on. Very confidence inspiring at the track. When the start to make noise at low braking I just do some agressive driving and that seems to take care of it. I also have the 2015-2018 stock OEM wheels...
  8. This is a good test of the current market

I'm just going to keep putting the miles on mine for as long as I am blessed to own one. It is encouraing to see prices holding steady. I wonder what it's going to be like in 10-15 years.. will mileage matter as much?

 Did your Shelby and the Camaro get along ok?
  12. According to the WaPo - The death of the stick shift is almost here

I isited with a Ferrari owner at a car show recently and he was lamenting the lack of engagement with the auto trans.. he asked me what was in my Shelby and I told him it was a 6 speed manual. He said I should hang unto it and never sell it
  13. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Attended the Elkhart Lake Car Show which is held during the Brian Redman Weathertech Vintage Race Weekend. Tested out the new engine bay lighting and it worked great. Several compliments on it, along with the paint color, engine, etc etc. .
