2019 GT PP. Currently has Michelin 305/35/19 rear, 275/35/19 front. Would like to fill vertical space in fenders a little more without going wider. Any recommendations on tire sizes?
edit…stuck with current size wheels, so can only change tire sizes.
Wow, mine never detonated with good E85. That was the most amazing fuel ever. I have a tune to take advantage of it, but that thing is flat scary at near sea level with E85. Runs like a raped ape. Stock configuration otherwise, if Ford rates it at 460 from the factory, I’d be pretty comfortable...
Mine detonates with 91 octane, which is the highest available in Flagstaff Arizona. We are also at 7200 feet above sea level. Generally happens during the warmer months, or during periods of longer driving. If it only happens at part throttle, it is normal. It won’t hurt anything. These engines...
Folks, is it important to distinguish whether the drive line vibration you’re referring to is a buzz, like an airplane propeller or a subwoofer bass note, or rather a shimmy-shake bouncing, back-and-forth. The only way it is a drive line vibration is if it is a buzz roar or hum like The former...
I went in from the top. Back passenger corner of the engine compartment downward . I had to use about 2 1/2 feet worth of extensions, a ½” drive six point Flex socket, a universal adapter on top of that, and it probably took 70 or 80 foot pounds of torque to get that thing broken loose. And it...
This is the only way I could get mine loose. Took a universal socket and a universal adApter plus about 2’ of extensions to get to it from back of engine compartment. It was so tight I thought it was welded on at first. I added a quart, it was low.
There’s a video somewhere that shows someone removing the dipstick cap, and they turn it “counter clockwise”, which if viewed from the top it would look like you were tightening it. From your picture, do you try to rotate it right or left? I.e. is it reverse threaded?
I tried doing it tonight...
Come on guys, there’s nothing wrong with that engine. Thats just like the typewriter tick, which is a normal operating characteristic of the engine. No repairs should be attempted

Very similar. 1-2 gear. It does it when it’s cold or has been sitting for a while. It will also do it if I’m going uphill really slowly and it keeps downshifting...eventually it can’t figure out which gear to be in.
