i had the same issue... i had to Deny "location access" for the Android Auto app. This immediately solved all my waze issues. Now i get the speedometer every time.

I had the same issue. I cleaned the MAF and the problem was solved! Its a cheap enough solution to at least try.

I had a similar issue with mine.. Ive got the 350 throttle body/CAI as well. I cleaned the MAF and the problem was fixed. Maybe something about that intake (open right under the hood vent) gets goop in there...
