Yep, 351whp and 367wtq. The real secret to it's straight line speed is that it's making 320tq+ at 2000rpm and has perfect gearing, 73mph at 6800rpm. That and when it's ballasted up with a full fuel tank and all the CAM interior bits it's still only 3100lbs. The biggest issue with most CAM-C cars...
Correct, S550 has never been the car to have. I'm not convinced it's the new Camaro (and their "factory support" isn't really) either as I believe the E92 M3 is still the car to have. I think the right E46 can be very close as well but only if it is a no-option car with as much weight pulled out...
Obvious bench racing is obvious, but if that time delta holds up to the big course that would be one full second on the west. That would have moved my first run raw time from a 53.3 to a 52.3, and faster than what anyone else ran all day.
Granted, I doubt the lighter 4th gen picks up as much...
That's exactly what I ran in #teamdumpsterfire on run 3 on the 315s (36.4). After seeing every single other 4th gen out there on 335s, I think I need to try that.
I thought about trying STP, but even if I was willing to take the longtubes off I still wouldn't be legal with my wrecked 98 running gear UD/BD into a 94 shell. Otherwise I would give it a shot for funsies.
