Hi all,
as mentioned in another thread, i got married on 29th May.
pleased to report it was a perfect day all round - the weather was awesome, the guests all enjoyed themselves and the music was on point - danced my ass off all night haha
my daughter, Amelie, was in her element which just...
oh yea, we got together in 2020, she always knew it was a package deal!
We’ve since had a daughter, she’s now 2.5, and feel very lucky to have been able to keep it
Living the dream!
Thanks for all the comments, real nice to read
I’m sat at the airport waiting to jet off to my honeymoon, thought i’d swoop in and get the first post for this month!
my wedding was on Friday, had a perfect day, the Mustang was my transport for the day, my best man - who i met via this forum lent his 1957 Chevy Bel Air to transport my bride...
New GT badge applied yesterday, removal was super easy in the end - i think in the heat, the 3M holding the badge on was melted enough so it just peeled off!
gave the black plastic a bit of a polish too
todays job is a full deep clean and detail for the wedding!
Thank you mate :)
You're not the first to suspect a painted chrome badge. The OEM one set me back ÂŁ60, but it did last a good 6+ years. I might try to coat it in sealant/wax this time in the hope it holds up better!
As for the car, my best man is Steve who I met through this forum (still has...
My new GT deck lid emblem arrived in the post today. The current one started to fail last year - which is an oem badge.
now i just have to find time to fit it before my wedding day in 3 weeks time!
Very sad news indeed. I always had a lot of time for Dave. I made the long journey a few times too
i’m sure he would have loved the thought of the company living on. I’ll not hesitate to book in there again
I think it's well known on this forum that as a general rule, you should avoid Ford UK, especially for anything that's not routine maintenance. I had a horrible experience with one of the major Ford stores (long story) on a warranty issue.
Modurstang or GT101 down south are highly recommended...
Not today, but this week - service, which turned out to be a big one, i’m 8 years in now so on top of the standard service items, i was on the hook for new spark plugs, brake fluid change etc.
it went to my trusted local garage, who aren’t ford or mustang specialists but otherwise fantastic...
Got me thinking for a brief moment that I could get these plugged into the oem usa lights, but I think I read somewhere that the usa internals are not compatible with euro spec cars? Seems a massive faff to have to swap the internals over. I know JW Racing will install the 2 amber / 3 red light...
Oh, and I recently picked up these from @spawnosuk
Wanted the OEM usa lights for such a long time. I know the internals can be swapped out, but I also want to do the exotic pony mods sequential LED's too
I don't even think it's been 6 weeks since I last pulled all the weeds out of my parking spot, look how much it's grown! Had to spend some time this morning pulling it all out so I can take the car out later today, sure wasn't going to drive through it, some of those weeds were strong as hell!
Don't rule out magic erasers, I've had good results on the interior with those before - plus a good interior cleaner spray. As always, test area first - magic erasers are abrasive...
