The good thing is, it's keeping the Mustang in the public's view, while the 1,400hp number doesn't hurt either. I bet it's a Clydesdale in weight though. The hard cell article said it is an extremely hard car to launch, what with 1,100 lb,s /ft @ 0 rpm !!
He certainly has some talent, as it would seem really easy to be running off the track backwards; especially when 760 hp warms up those HEAVILY worked tyres some laps in !!
I'm sure the new owner was really pissed off, as it was a SUPER CAR, that wont be thrilling its new owner anytime soon, It was so close, and yet so far NOW !!
My scenario goes like : he did his Dealer ring around, and said to them " I'm a You Tuber". Lasco Ford bites heavily, grasping the free publicity with both hands, and makes it happen; from the unwrapping of the car, to the dealer install of parts, it's a great deal for THEM, too !! I doubt...
It's really disappointing to hear certain people put down others on this forum, when in theory at least, we're all MUSTANG enthusiasts here. I have not done a lot of posts, but have M6G in my favourites. It's somewhat dis-heartening to see the young fella being ripped apart savagely. I think...
Well, one things for certain here, @ a minimum 730hp, this will be the king of 'stangs, and should hopefully match or beat a base c8 vette in all performance metrics; what with it having the same dct transmission, and those huge brakes. I know the Nurburgring is not a level playing field, but...
I am truly surprised that no one mentioned the part that says the GT500 pulls more lateral g force than any previous Mustang. I have no doubt that it will need the carbon pack with the pilot sport cup 2 tyres to to that. What has worried me after watching the 6 min.drive video, is the huge drop...
My take on this, is Mustang Sales this month had the 'stang selling around 40+ % more than the challenging Challenger, whose challenge (this month at least), went to the mat !!
I'm super pleased to see Ford soon to be back at the top of the PONY car spectrum, and the long time a cumin ... I think ... will result in a fine end product, that will bridge between the handling oriented Camaro's and straight line Demon !!
Nobody mentioned the BIGGEST news on that 2020 oil list though (at least in swept volume); the 7.0 V8 IS REAL. So there is at least a chance of there being a BOSS 429 MUSTANG AGAIN !!
Derek, your FGX XR6 ute would be rarer than the Mustang. I'VE SEEN ONLY 1 FGX flat deck ute, and that's it. That makes the double figures of S550's seem off the scale in comparison. Will be a keeper for sure !!
If you think that's bad .... the poor English and French car lover will not hear the the sound of ANY petrol powered PONY from 2040 onward, as a new car !! How bad is that ??!!
