Having both and having had the ā24 for a year I still like it. Unfortunately itās taken bout that long to learn how to operate the a/c efficiently along with others features. At the end of the day itās the same car as the s550. I still prefer having a dash with buttons and knobs.
Iām not much on grilling, but the best steak I have ever had in my life was last night. I doubt I could ever duplicate grilling a steak that good or get one at a restaurant.
All for show. Itāll probably never see regular duty. It might attract some young kid to be a trooper, but will be huge disappointment when they assign him his first Ford Explorer or Tahoe with 120k miles that feels like a rattle trap.
Iām not an advocate to buy new cars. But, if my car has had that many issues and everything is operating correctly. Then I would definitely get rid of it. If thatās not an option Iād bank the $5,480 (if thatās the cost of an extended warranty) in an high yield savings account and use it for...
I had Koni active shocks on my ā16 GT vert. Granted this was probably over three years ago. The Koni rear shocks were junk and the Koni front were ok. Their front shocks were better than the oem in ā16, but not as good as the oem shocks on my ā24 regular GT suspension. I wouldnāt recommend...
My son has the same issue. Iāll drive his truck and tell him itās completely normal (if it truly is normal). It helps ease his mind. I also have the philosophy that if Iām unsure what it is, I tell him to keep driving it. Itāll either get worse or break and then weāll know for sure what it is.
I sold my ā16 GT vert to Carmax two years ago during Covid. My car was well taken care of and all that, no issues with it. However, those guys never even test drove it. They took some pictures, cranked it up and cut me a check. I thought to myself, ya are fkān crazy. Iād never buy a car...
Coming from a ā16 GT at 435, I canāt fell or see a difference. I always felt my ā16 was underrated. So I f your upgrading for HP alone, save your money.
Iād say itās not normal. I had my ā16 for about six years. It developed a very small hole on the right side around that seam right before I sold it. I trimmed the freys and wasnāt noticeable.
