  1. Test Drove a '25 S650 10r80 car today.

Having both and having had the ā€˜24 for a year I still like it. Unfortunately it’s taken bout that long to learn how to operate the a/c efficiently along with others features. At the end of the day it’s the same car as the s550. I still prefer having a dash with buttons and knobs.
  2. What's the one DIY project you're most proud of?

I’m not much on grilling, but the best steak I have ever had in my life was last night. I doubt I could ever duplicate grilling a steak that good or get one at a restaurant.
  3. MEME THREAD 2.0 - NO POLITICS OR ANYTHING YOU WOULDNT WANT YOUNG KIDS TO SEE [READ THE WARNING]

Would this be considered murder in Louisiana? Your honor I thought it was an alien!
  4. Virginia State Police up their game

All for show. It’ll probably never see regular duty. It might attract some young kid to be a trooper, but will be huge disappointment when they assign him his first Ford Explorer or Tahoe with 120k miles that feels like a rattle trap.
  5. So my warranty is up, options, advice?

I’m not an advocate to buy new cars. But, if my car has had that many issues and everything is operating correctly. Then I would definitely get rid of it. If that’s not an option I’d bank the $5,480 (if that’s the cost of an extended warranty) in an high yield savings account and use it for...
  6. oppinion please

At the time of impact he was going straight in the same direction. He didn’t brake unexpectedly. So, yes I’d say it’s correct.
  7. Alternator Caught on Fire

I would test the battery first, they can cause some funky issues. It’s always been my issue when electrical issues started.
  8. MEME THREAD 2.0 - NO POLITICS OR ANYTHING YOU WOULDNT WANT YOUNG KIDS TO SEE [READ THE WARNING]

I’m wondering when was the last time she wiped her butt with those nails?
  9. Koni Active Struts and Shocks vs. Steeda Pro Active Shocks and Struts

I had Koni active shocks on my ā€˜16 GT vert. Granted this was probably over three years ago. The Koni rear shocks were junk and the Koni front were ok. Their front shocks were better than the oem in ā€˜16, but not as good as the oem shocks on my ā€˜24 regular GT suspension. I wouldn’t recommend...
  10. Am I the only one who hyper fixates on random noises on their car?

My son has the same issue. I’ll drive his truck and tell him it’s completely normal (if it truly is normal). It helps ease his mind. I also have the philosophy that if I’m unsure what it is, I tell him to keep driving it. It’ll either get worse or break and then we’ll know for sure what it is.
  11. Is this Vert 550 too good to be true?

I sold my ā€˜16 GT vert to Carmax two years ago during Covid. My car was well taken care of and all that, no issues with it. However, those guys never even test drove it. They took some pictures, cranked it up and cut me a check. I thought to myself, ya are fk’n crazy. I’d never buy a car...
  12. I HATE the stance of my car….

I think you need taller oem tires, 255/40 and 275/40. I’d not one to give up suspension travel.
  13. 2024 GT or not ?

Coming from a ā€˜16 GT at 435, I can’t fell or see a difference. I always felt my ā€˜16 was underrated. So I f your upgrading for HP alone, save your money.
  14. Random thoughts.......................

Some people you can’t help! 100 degrees and 10’ from the shade!
  15. 2021 Convertible top early tears

I’d say it’s not normal. I had my ā€˜16 for about six years. It developed a very small hole on the right side around that seam right before I sold it. I trimmed the freys and wasn’t noticeable.
