  1. [Locked due to politics] Student debt cancelation. Seems there are strong opinions against it from some.

I fully agree with the sentiment here. I believe colleges need to stop scamming people as well, and the government needs to stop fucking the citizens. I think things have been so good in this country for so long that people stopped paying attention to politics because everything just worked and...

You're creating a moving target by redefining the parameters of the tax pay back. Initially you said taxes paid and now you're saying taxes generated. But what if the parent wants the returned tax money? Who gets it then? (that's rhetorical as this is a can of worms that no one could ever sort...

I get your point, that everyone would love their tax money back, but then where to you draw the line? Even if you give every tax-paying citizen their tax money back equally/proportionally, Then there are a lot of GOOD things that will be de-funded OR everyone will STILL have to pay more in...

https://www.linkedin.com/news/story/toxic-student-loan-debt-spikes-wsj-4270545/ Looks like student loan debt is already being paid for by the tax payers anyways... and it's not good. It's gonna cost tax payers $435 billion.
  5. Builder hit the car

This ^^ I worked at a Ford plant for a few years so I pretty well understand many of the repair intricacies when it comes to body panels and paint. Repairs don't just affect the immediate area, there are lots of prevention methods for damaging other components (i.e. fuel tank as you mentioned)...
  6. TSB 19-2026: Aluminum Panel Corrosion

It is. It is harder to remove, but adhesive under the paint won't continue to grow, unlike corrosion. In fact, the only issue with it is that it is an eye sore. That little bit washing out of the hem won't change the structural integrity of the panel. It is a HUGE pain to try to remove though...
  7. TSB 19-2026: Aluminum Panel Corrosion

That looks more like hem adhesive washout than corrosion under the paint.
  8. Richardgrimm001 Scam, Watch your PM's

I agree with @BlackandBlue. Try opening a PP case, worst case scenario they tell you no. Or simply do a CC chargeback. I think that is a much simpler route anyways. Your CC company works for you and they're generally very quick. PP doesn't give a fugg about you or your money.

  10. New 6.8 v8

What's the likelihood the 6.8 is a new diesel?
  11. Threat from Tire Bubble

Good, I'm glad you came to this conclusion. I understand the frustration of this kind of thing and how easy it can be to write it off and think it's ok, or think there is a manufacturing defect and just be mad about it (I'm not hating, I have been there myself more times than I care to have been...
  12. Threat from Tire Bubble

A bulge/bubble in the sidewall is never a good thing. That means that the tire has a split in it and the only thing holding air is the outer most layer of rubber. This USUALLY happens from hitting a pothole or hard bump and the wheel pinches the tire hard enough to destroy the inner sidewall...
  13. how noticeable is 100 torque on a car ?

I thought it was rated for 800 newton meters which is only 590 ft-lbs... but I've been wrong before
