The OEM mounts are painted chopped carbon. I am using the GT4 ones from Multimatic which are painted aluminum.

From what I can see, none of these products are exactly the same as OEM. Some have different mounts which require drilling into a new trunk lid. Some require the end plates to be screwed in. Some have different shaped aerofoils. And there's always the question about quality of the carbon. The...

I had mine removed twice and no paint damage. There should've been a thin rubber gasket between the mount and trunk lid to weather seal the gap and protect the paint.

Mine did not look like this at all. The holes were much cleaner and no marks in the paint.
