Will add, if you use the Sirrus xmradio app, make sure it is installed from Google Play store not Samsung. I've had issues with it not being recognized untill you uninstall the Samsung flavor one and then install Google play version so it works correctly with Android Auto.
I did not say to try your phone some where else, I asked if you have a friend that has an android phone to setup in your mustang to see if it acts the same.
I'd also check your current sync version installed to what is current and upgrade that also. Can't hurt! Also, anyone else you know that has an android phone to see if theirs works? Will isolate if it's your phone or not.
I'll add, I have a Samsung Fold 7 and a wireless Motorola MA1 android adapter and have no issues with AA using it wirelessly. Use waze, xmradio app and Samsung music no issues.
Has the phone ever worked with the sync unit before? Did you try a master reset on the sync unit? Also, have you tried to fully patch with the current sync version over at cyanlabs? Maybe worth a shot to baseline and try it again.
Nope, I replaced mine since it came out of a wrecked vehicle and had a scratch. Four plastic clips and came right off the display. Then put the new one on. Ford part number JR3Z-10890-JA new around 15 bucks. Pull the part up and you will see the tabs. GL
I will say that Ford stop making the Motorcraft 96G AGM battery. MIne died under warranty and Ford rep said they were discontinued so was replaced under warranty with standard non AGM Motorcraft battery.
Two things that can not be done by forscan. Lower Milleage or change from KPH to MPH, automatic to stick or style, Mustang, Bullet etc... All these things require a bench based firmware update to be done by indivuals able to do so. VIN is not associated to speedo nor needed.
Reach out to@breeves002, you will need to send the speedo to anyone for the program bin file to be uploaded and changed. Bullet speedo programming is what your looking for...
Reach out to Breeves, it is a bench firmware upgrade and requires a BIN for this mod. Pretty sure you will need to send it in for it to be flashed for that change. Pretty sure there is a cost for him to do it. www.breeves002.net
Cyanlabs, confirm your version and update to current via USB. See if problem persist, if so it maybe a limitation of great Ford engineering!! :sunglasses:
Here's a couple of references I use... Maybe some duplicates...
I'll add, I have both fronts off using the 0 code - 720-01-01 IPC 8F2B, 1404, 70
I guess if I ever get rid of the car I'll need to turn it back on. LOL
Bambi mode (fog lights on with high beams) turn off double honk when you get out with key and vehicle is running I also added seat button controls hot/cool on sync 3 screen as backups. Just to name a few... Don't have my list in front of me and this was done a couple of years ago and my age is...
