In general, actually "warped" rotors, were the metal itself deforms, are very, very rare; especially the monster rotors we have on the GT350. It would take serious heat - beyond normal track use -- to do that.
It's more likely that you have uneven deposit of pad material on the rotor. One...
Should we start a new thread that at least keeps track of how many engines have blown and what Ford did about it in each case? My bone stock 16 Tech pack is almost at 13,000 miles and you guys have me scared shitless. (And I already had the A/C failure).
Can you imagine what Ford's going to...
Exact same thing happened to me too. Ultimately, A/C would only blow out hot air.
Just got it fixed. They said one of my hoses had a leak. A/C blows cold now.
That's great, but just wait until your A/C fails -- like mine and many others. You won't like that about the car either. And be sure to check your oil level at every fuel stop -- this is the only car I've ever owned where you really have to heed that warning in the manual.
Had mine done at Galpin Ford. no problems -- just be sure to check your oil level afterwards.
They get a lot of 350s and 350Rs in there, so they know what they're doing.
Add one more ..
Had this problem a few months ago -- pre-oil line recall. Brought it in for service on that issue alone, but the A/C worked fine when I tried to replicate problem for the Advisor. I left it with dealer for 2 days and they still could not get it to replicate problem.
A/C...
Had this problem a few months ago in my Shelby. Brought it in for service and the A/C worked fine when I tried to replicate problem for the Advisor. I left it with dealer for 2 days and they still could not get it to replicate problem.
A/C worked fine for few months, but again today -- when...
Galpin Ford in North Hills. They have plenty of experience dealing with GT350s, probably highest volume in state. I've had great experiences so far, including the oil cooler lines recall.
I'm sorry if this has already been made clear, but I can't really wade through the hundreds of posts on this, but:
Did we ever learn exactly why the Tech transmissions are overheating - either on or off the track? I know the heat build up is triggering software limp mode to protect the...
Personally, I am thankful to people who post incredibly helpful information here, whether it's regarding the cooler solutions/installs or "real" information relating to lawyers and possible steps we Base and Tech chumps (who didn't realize Track vs. Tech meant "Track or No Track") can take to...
