Understood, but to clarify: It’s not about the resale value, as I plan on driving mine for as long as I can. I’m just glad that I bought it when I did, as the GT350 checks so many boxes for me.
I am absolutely *not* rooting for all future Mustangs to be garbage!
I think every GT350 owner felt the same thing after last night’s reveal: Grateful!
That said, I think the Dark Horse fixes a lot of the issues I have with the S650’s regular front end.
I have an Arcan 3-ton aluminum/steel jack, used with Steeda rails. Bought it from Costco a couple of years ago, and have been happy with its quality since then.
Krown underbody spray. Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3s (255/40R19 front, 275/40R19 rear). Snow shovel, ice scraper/brush, isopropyl alcohol in the trunk. Decent grip, but the ground clearance is the bigger worry!
Changed back to Michelin Sport 4Ss two weeks ago, and just did an overnight trip into upstate NY and Watkins Glen for a damp opening weekend. Some rain--and some hail! Yes, the public laps are restricted by a pace car, but it's such a wonderful track that I didn't mind too much. And it's...
Drove through a second winter with Nokian Hakkas and a Krown treatment. But minimal snow driving and reduced mileage, thanks to working from home. I'm just about ready to put the Michelins back on, except 1) there's freezing weather still in the forecast for Toronto at month-end and 2) I...
I can endorse Craig's brackets as I used one for five years on my Mustang GT, and almost 2 years (so far) on my GT350. They've held up well despite being taken up to very high and sustained speeds.
I'm using my PS4. It's more than playable, except with less amazing graphics and much longer load times. I have a PS5 on order from Walmart, but it's been delayed by a couple of weeks.
Also, I'm still using my PS4 controller. I used to have a nice wheel/pedal combo when I was more into PC...
I think it was this preview shot in R&T. I remember thinking, "They finally nailed the shade of blue I want!" Ah, well... Maybe when it's time for a respray!
Hubba-hubba! I can't remember which car magazine it was, but there was an overhead shot of a PB GT500 with white stripes. I just remember thinking, "That, but GT350!"
I know, I know... Who cares what some journalist has to say about your car, so long as you're behind the wheel and enjoying the hell out of the thing, right?
Well, Chris Harris is one of the best automotive writers out there, so it's immensely gratifying to read this brief impression on...
I know it's a pain in the butt, and potentially hell on the paint, but I do love the sight of dead bugs plastered on the bumper at the end of a good road trip!
