it has taken a long time to get to this point, I have documented this and discussed it with the service manager. Have not heard back yet. The upper seal looks to have been pulled on long enough due to the window catching on it that the window when fully closed does not fit tight causing small...

Issue has been Fixed, with caveat! So the window the ENTIRE window regulator assembly and motor has been replaced and it is no longer catching. BUT the window seal has been damaged from it catching... So if you have this same problem make sure to check the window seal for air and water leaks...

Regulator Assembly after the reg motor was replaced and initialized, this week its sticking worse than before, I now have to pull the handle and wait for the window to come down for fear doing damage. The window glass is not sealing properly now as there are 2 spots at the top that are...

.... The window regulator motor was replaced yesterday, a reset then was performed.. NO CHANGE... And in the process the plastic chrome door handle which I really like was, PRIED on with a METAL screwdriver and scratched to hell...... The window control panel pops out with finger pressure...

possible fix awaits? well.... I finally have an answer and a part on order. Service department says its a bad windows regulator. Its going to be replaced middle of next week. Hope that fixes it and will post the results. Cheers!

STILL waiting on a fix... hope the window mech, seal or glass does not fail in the meantime. Lame

Have an appointment with the dealer to take a look next week, will report details on a fix if any.. I hope there is.., Dont think the window assembly can take that much force for long without damaging the seal or other components eventually..

there does appear to be a delay compared to the other door.

2016 Ecoboost when opening the drivers side door catches on the upper seal badly, to the point if you open the door like you normally would it bounces the glass off the lip of the seal pretty hard.. It appears that the window motor may not be coming down fast enough? Possibly the seal itself...
