I actually cranked the car and checked it again after it warmed up and you can see the groove even less now lol guess I was expecting to see it sticking out more than it was. 😅
The valves work fine when you remote start the car first before driving it. However when I get in the car, push the brake then hit the push to start button to start it like normal its almost as if the car initiates a check it will cycle the valves and throw the "Active exhaust not Available"...
Need some help from those that have dealt with this issue. Ive replaced the actuators, I have no visibly melted wires or exposed wires around the connectors and the heat-wrap on the harness from what I can tell looks fine. My exhaust constantly cycles you'll hear it sometimes cycle the valves...
I had similar plans for mine minus the cams he had. Based on what I can find and people in the know he wasn't running a Voltage Booster on the stock pumps and the car went lean. He had Fuel rails and ID1300s but just didn't have the fuel pump to keep up and supply the fuel.
From what I've been reading he had injectors but wasn't running a voltage booster on the factory fuel pump and was right at 1000hp and his car went lean.
I heard stangmode was still running stock injectors but not sure if anyone can confirm that or not. Lund told me the factory injectors are maxed out with 93 Octane fuel at upper 700s with a 2.6 upper pulley and stangmodes car was supposedly in the 900hp range so if he wasn't running higher flow...
I switched to Amsoil when I did the first oil change and it came back on the oil analysis that Amsoil is a much better oil than Ford Motorcraft. They even told me I could run longer intervals with it. Blackstone labs are some top notch guys highly recommend them.
Mine doesn't tick and I'm at 13k knock on wood but I've always noticed the passenger side of the engine when I put my head down by the tire to listen has more clatter noise than the drivers side but hell that could be anything. I'd just start doing an oil analysis every oil change and not worry...
Thanks alot guys! Going to have the PCM/TCM updated ASAP. I also have a buddy with FORScan so hopefully he can do it so I don't have to take it to the dealer haha
