Not big enough of a change to make it worth it. As long as you don't have the 3.15:1 pumpkin you should be OK.
I would move on to a set of 4.09s or forget about it.
After 2019 you will need a tune to adjust for the gears. Up until 2019 you could adjust with Forscan.
Fortunately the current choice with the M2 is very limited colors that are offered the Toronto Red is my favorite
Where can you get a torsen with the 409s already installed point me the way. I have a local guy here in Los Angeles to install my 409 gears everything for $1200.
Agreed, you know another option I'm considering is holding off and not buying anything. I feel the new car market is going to have a major correction downward.
I want the PP not to mention it will cost a couple grand to ship it too me in Los Angeles. I am getting the ordered car for almost $3k off of MSRP. Also, when I contacted them they won't let me lease since I'm out of state.
Buy the Torsen twice? With the PP you get the Torsen, you can still...
Both cars are still months away. The Mustang is being built on the week of 3 June, while the M2 is being built near 20 May. The Mustang will hit the dealer probably the end of June, the M2 not until mid July or the end of July. I still haven't made up my mind.
The M2 is a better driving...
Sorry bro, kind of stayed out of this thread as it fell off the rails.
My S650: Splash Yellow, 6MT, PP, AE and red calipers MSRP:$55,785
My M2: Toronto Red, Black with M highlights, 6MT, Red calipers and aluminum trim., MSRP: $64,995.
Thats it.
I would buy a tuned car, depends on what was done to it. A Ford Performance tune with an xpipe and some mufflers I would have no issues with. Whats funny is people feel if they buy a car that isn't modded it hasn't been driven hard. I would look at the whole condition of the car, I think that...
I understand, but look at the measured rim width. It's 10.5". It's safe but not optimal. Also a 285 on a 9.5" rim is safe, but not optimal. You want as much sidewall support for a nose heavy car like the Mustang. I wouldn't go above a 275 for the front.
