So just out of curiosity does anyone know how ford assigns the chassis number? the 17's that I have looked at all had a letter and 4 digit number. Just wondering if this is the last 4 of the VIN or some other number they pick, and also where does the letter come from? is that for specific year...

AmaC8487, If you have yours waiting transit you are ahead of me. I ordered a 2018 on 8/3/17. The order is still in process but did show up on COTUS finally. I have a VIN but no build date on the site yet. How long did it take you to go through the process?

So since I've got a 2018 coming (I don't know when yet). I am trying to get ready for her arrival. What recommendations would you guys have for washing/sealing/wax etc? Are there any long term sealants that would be worthwhile?
