So this specific hose can only be linked to weird manual transmission shifting issues. It doesn’t have anything to do with our rattle at 2200 rpms (well I don’t think they are related.)

Don’t waste you’re money on an expensive X pipe! I purchased the second up from the cheapest on American muscle and it fits like a glove. I’d only go 3in X pipe if you plan to upgrade to a 3in axle back later but if you’re anything like me, it sounds absolutely perfect with just the x pipe on...
