Actually, after testing the new tune out in factory mode, I found it to still lack throttle response so I will be keeping it. My tuner could make the throttle more sensitive in the tune but then I'm stuck with exactly what he makes it.

So Ray, if I miss a shift and rev the car out is it the soft limiter coming into play? Also if I shift into wrong gear which limiter comes into play or there is none for that? Lastly when does the hard limiter come into play?

I believe ~8500 .. I didn’t know this gen 4 could do that, thought it was a gt350 thing. I’m afraid if I mess up a shift or have a weak spot in my engine that this high of a rpm is unsafe and doesn’t offer a buffer. Why would Ford leave 1000 rpm’s on the table? Maybe im just ignorant on this so...

Ray, is there data logging involved? Do I start with 93 tune then go e85, then flex or just straight to flex?

Cool, this is great! Some say Dark Horse doesn't gain as much power on a tune since Ford squeezed it all out. Saying tuned GT is sme as Tuned DH Are gains the same on DH sarting at 500hp?

Thanks for the response Ray! I seriously considering pulling the trigger. I added a throttle controller which really helped with the pedal lag on the manual trans but It could still use some added torque in the mid-range which I think e85 helps a lot with. Does E70 on your flex get the full...

You guys offer a flex tune for the 24-25 dark horse now I see. How many people do you have running it and what's the feedback? Why do so many tuners refuse t do it?

He has the tunes written and loaded. Issue for all the tuners is they can’t get the car to start after messing with the tune tables.

Thanks man, I think.. lol Worst case scenario Ford Performance comes out with one but I’ll wait a few more months for Wengerd. Luckily the tune isn’t as big of a deal on the manual as it was for the 10-speed. I just want to run E!
