  1. Shelby GT350 Throttle Bodies and DLX Controller

Actually, after testing the new tune out in factory mode, I found it to still lack throttle response so I will be keeping it. My tuner could make the throttle more sensitive in the tune but then I'm stuck with exactly what he makes it.

I’ve got one I’m going to sell since I just got a tune

Hey Ray, one more question. JLT cold air intake worth spending the money on if I already ripped out the traps and put high flow filters in?
  4. Mustang Tuning by DRP Motorsports

Ok, makes sense Thanks for this explanation. Just want what’s safest for my internals. I have messed up and forgotten to shift in time before when I get caught up into the moment.. lol

So Ray, if I miss a shift and rev the car out is it the soft limiter coming into play? Also if I shift into wrong gear which limiter comes into play or there is none for that? Lastly when does the hard limiter come into play?
  6. Mustang Tuning by DRP Motorsports

I believe ~8500 .. I didn’t know this gen 4 could do that, thought it was a gt350 thing. I’m afraid if I mess up a shift or have a weak spot in my engine that this high of a rpm is unsafe and doesn’t offer a buffer. Why would Ford leave 1000 rpm’s on the table? Maybe im just ignorant on this so...

Mike, I have always appreciated your feedback on here. I’m going with Ray’s flex tune on my DH. We had a great conversation today. One thing I’m indecisive about is redline limiter. What is you opinion on a safe redline for a manual? I’m not a drag racer but I am a very spirited driver. Car only...

Ray, is there data logging involved? Do I start with 93 tune then go e85, then flex or just straight to flex?
  9. Mustang Tuning by DRP Motorsports

I like that personal touch, seems like we get it less and less these days. I also received your return call with Voicemail today which was great, sorry I got busy at work. Maybe I can reach you tomorrow. Thanks again for your responses.

Cool, this is great! Some say Dark Horse doesn't gain as much power on a tune since Ford squeezed it all out. Saying tuned GT is sme as Tuned DH Are gains the same on DH sarting at 500hp?
  11. Mustang Tuning by DRP Motorsports

Thanks for the response Ray! I seriously considering pulling the trigger. I added a throttle controller which really helped with the pedal lag on the manual trans but It could still use some added torque in the mid-range which I think e85 helps a lot with. Does E70 on your flex get the full...

Thanks Mike. I’ve never really heard of DRP … so just want to make sure they are safe and reputable as well.

You guys offer a flex tune for the 24-25 dark horse now I see. How many people do you have running it and what's the feedback? Why do so many tuners refuse t do it?
  14. My Review of Wengerd Performance Tuning

He has the tunes written and loaded. Issue for all the tuners is they can’t get the car to start after messing with the tune tables.
  15. My Review of Wengerd Performance Tuning

Thanks man, I think.. lol Worst case scenario Ford Performance comes out with one but I’ll wait a few more months for Wengerd. Luckily the tune isn’t as big of a deal on the manual as it was for the 10-speed. I just want to run E!
