how much you take out vs how much you put in divided by how many thousands you drove since your last oil change for example if you take out 7qts but put in 8qts and it was 4k miles since your last oil change you consumed 1/4qt per 1000 miles

I had these same symptoms, I had an oil leak from the valve cover dripping on the headers. Mine was a V8, it would be interesting if it is happening on the ecoboost too... look for signs of oil dripping onto something hot

run the windshield defogger, that will kick in the AC. My windshield kept fogging up bad, that's how I found out mine broke.

any ABS light? I think all those systems use the ABS sensors on the wheel hubs, if the system picked up a bad reading or a sensor somehow malfunctioned; it might do that.

i have noticed that if you floor the gas while starting the engine will spin but wont start, once I let off the gas the throttle closes and the engine starts. I think the throttle valve moves even when the car it off, you can just barley hear it on a really quiet morning.
