So close...at least it's finally here. I only check this thread anymore to see if you got your car yet. We ordered pretty close to the same time, and I have been driving mine for a month...CONGRATS (close enough)!
If they stick to performance great..but they sure do love sticking plastic pieces all over the place. I don't like stickers in general so the flags aren't for me, but sure someone would like them..along with all the extra stick on plastic bits.
I did read your entire post. I apologise if I hurt your feelings. Yes without the 20% oxygen your rate of loss in pressure could be @ 1.4% better. Most nitrogen fill I think gets you @ a claimed 97%. They market it to the unsuspecting with many false claims though that just can't be...
Oxygen only makes up about 20% of the air you breath @ 78% is already nitrogen as we have discussed in this thread. Air is not mostly oxygen. Nitrogen fill is a scam.
I told them I wasn't paying for the stuff up front. Think my dealership adds like $700 with glass etching, nitrogen, tile key chain plus glass, paint, fabric protection. All the stuff on the lot they automatically add it. When I bought my truck from them off the lot I told them no deal unless...
Just an FYI...the air you're breathing at this moment is @ 78% nitrogen. Those that think another 22% is going to make a difference are fooling themselves. Just a way to pad the bill.
Hope they can get you back on the road quickly. Such a nice looking car...good thing it looks fast even sitting still.
I've been worried about my 2018 GT..the fan likes to turn on after I shut the car off and it's cold here. Not even driven hard...yet. My 2015 never did this. Guess we will...
This is what I was wondering if there had been some type of change causing this to happen? I was thinking if it was some failure of the thermostat or even just a sensor that it would occur all the time. I'l keep an eye on it, and maybe bring it up on my first oil change. When the weather...
I'm actually still kind of babying it, haven't even gone over 5k rpm.
Normal mode
Has occurred with highway, local, and mixed driving.
Prior to parking only driving @ 25 mph for about 1 mile on neighborhood roads.
It's an automatic, wasn't holding low gears etc. Very low RPM...
My 2018 after being driven, even for a short time, will occasionally start to run the fan on high after the car is shut off. It's very cold this time of year here so I found this very strange. My 2015 never did this even after driving long distances in 100 degree heat.
Has anyone else had...
My 2015 A6 S550 GT had the same issue, and it has carried thru to my 2018 S550 GT. Long transition from R to D. The A10 on my F150 doesn't have this issue.
