After trading in my mustang I don't post here too often but I still check in now and then just incase I can add something to a conversation. With that said, I'm still manual or die even if it's not in a mustang!
2015 gt pp. Pretty much every bmr part they make which was overkill but I couldn't put up with the bad wheel hop on the street. No hop at all at the strip with slicks even with the stock suspension. I also upgraded the axles for piece of mind. Stock clutch lasted for probably 30 5k rpm launches...
Get a set of mt bias r's + front runners, 93 tune and some bmr or steeda goodies and send that baby into the 11's! I went 11.86 @ 115 mph on fords pp2 tune!
With the Hoosiers I had alot of sway even with bias up front. I changed to MT Street bias r's and had zero sway. I was even running them down to 12-14 lbs cold and they felt good. You will pick up a tenth or so and atleast 1+ mph if you go with a skinny upfront.
Sorry for the late reply but I'm not on here much since I sold the stang. I didn't replace the dust cap with anything. I was going to turn low profile ones on the lathe but never did since it would only be protecting an already sealed bearing. Also I didn't need to use a spacer. Goodluck!
