Yep the metal brackets that become exposed when you drop the rear seat backs down. You’ll probably notice some shiny worn areas on them, that should be the creaky hotspot
Grab your reverse lockout on the shifter while driving, I bet the noise stops.
It’s just the mt82 vibes ringing thru the shifter assembly. For me 4th is the noisiest. Play some music.
I test drove 3 or 4 GTs - there is a lot of variation in tranny noise but they all did it.
Happens to me here and there as well. I feel like it happens when the car is cold and I give it too much throttle while slipping the clutch from a stop - enough to spin up the rpms and not go faster if that makes sense.
To mitigate I just push the clutch all the way back in, let the revs...
This is the no lift shift feature. Same happened to me after PP2. You have to be really careful to have zero overlap of throttle and clutch at high throttle / high rpm, else it’ll cough and sputter.
You can also just use the no lift as designed and leave the throttle matted while you shift, and...
I just put on A/S 3+’s today after wearing out the oem pirellis. No experience with contis but I can say the michelins are night and day better than the pirellis.
Literally can’t even explain how much I hated those pirellis. They work fine if it’s 85 and dry, anything else and they are utter...
If you even lightly have your foot on the clutch anticipating a shift around full throttle, the no lift kicks in and cuts power, resulting in a stumble. Same thing if you feed in any throttle at all when letting the clutch back out.
In my opinion, it’s better to just get used to using no lift...
First post, I recently put on a PP2 and Krona cat back on my ‘17. This video sucks, but has a warm start, idle, and 3rd gear pull from 2k to 6.5k with windows down.
