My 16 had this same issue, took it to the dealership and they replaced the timing cover gasket and something else I forget but they forgot to readjust the timing correctly and so that ended up burning out my cats. In any case all replaced under warranty.

I would only get another Mustang if I could get a GT instead of EBM only because it has had a lot of mechanical issues fortunately all fixed under warranty.

Yea I just had my pair installed and can confirm they are nice and deep/ I'm really happy with them. I love driving in sport mode now with the paddles to downshift.

I also was debating between Flowmaster Outlaws and the NXT-Step axel back.. I went ahead purchased the NXT-Step and will be arriving soon. Can't wait to have them installed and hear them in person. The few clips on YT sound pretty nice.

how do you have the oil tested? Is it expensive?

I know old thread but curious what was the issue with your car? I have a 16 Ecoboost that I noticed has the same issue. Smoke out of oil cap. Went for a oil change and noticed it when the cap came off.

What repairs can fix the P0087 code? Replacing the fuel filter or screen. Replacing kinked fuel lines. Removing and replacing the fuel pump. Replacing a faulty fuel pressure sensor.
