Gentle spray... not too close to the paint... spray at an angle... dont directly blast it, shoot from the sid, so the water is flowing across the paint
I feel like youd probably be ok using a low pressure stream of water... like the wide or spray setting on a garden hose.... be generous with the water and if you gotta dry it, dont rub, just drape a microfiber towel over it and pull across...
