@SteveS - I haven't had the car for long. I can see the appeal in modifying it, but at the same time I think the 2017 doesn't actually need any changes.
It's a snarly, lumpy torque monster and it looks great. You can make it more snarly, more torquey and change (improve?) the looks but I don't...
@hinch - I don't envy Ford the market position they have found (placed) themselves in. They're already making the markup on $'s compared to ÂŁ's and they were still selling extremely well. Perhaps their success is making them greedy.
They were selling what is frankly a bargain sports/touring car...
I went into the dealers prepared to order a specced up 2018 and wait the long wait for it to arrive.
I walked out with a specced up 2017 with 0% on the balance outstanding, and I don't regret it - there really wasn't that much in it for me in terms of added features for the extra money/wait...
The mrs originally wanted Magnetic. I insisted on Lightning. When she saw it, she admitted she was wrong. I noted that down because it seldom happens... :amen:
Got it from Allen Ford Swindon - they still have (or had) 2017s in Grabber Blue, Race Red and the demo car in black on the forecourt...
