My post was in reference to this:
"Thinking you have skill talent and ability to run a car in track mode on the street is vastly different from actually having the ability.... and 99.9% who think they have such ability dont."
I know why ford and other manufacturers do it.
Dear gawd, how did people survive the muscle car days from the late 50's into the 70's? How do people even drive muscle cars or hotrods today without killing people and themselves? These cars without the computer aided driving are the same as a dreaded "black rifle"... Its a killer I tell you...
Of the three (Camaro, Charger and mustang) that I've owned the mustang is the one I've taken the biggest hit on in as far as resale or trade in. I think it is mostly because/due to the numbers of mustang out there. The market is saturated with mustangs so the value of even a slightly used...
I've had mine over a year now and live within a mile of the Atlantic. Mine looks nothing like this at all. I have no surface rust and about the only thing that even looks remotely like the OP's is my rotors after I wash the car and don't drive it right away.
Recon, yup that was the PITA....lol forgot what it was called. Yeah Cali is really bad for just about everything. There is a reason I steer as far away from that place as possible. So sad for a place that is known for, among other things, it's rich car culture.
Man Oahu was the worst place I have ever lived when modding a car. Rebuild sticker and safety inspection woe's abound! Lucky for me I found a group that took me in and called me "Ohana" or I would have been stuck with a car in the garage or would have had to of found a way to send it back to the...
I was at 300 front springs when I was on the Steeda setup and that was a great street manner setup. With the blower I would go higher. I'm still N/A and on 325 now (both Steeda and ridetech use the same hyperco coils) and I still feel I have great street manners. They are easy to change too if...
Logging your adjustments and seat time on the track is your friend. I have noticed that my settings from corner to corner are never exactly the same no matter the adjustment type. the same could be said for the non click adjustment as well. I remember some "author" posting on here awhile ago...
I would personally stay away from cheap coilovers.. I made that mistake in the past on another vehicle using BC and had to replace them or deal with noise and leaks multiple times... I will never do that again.
As far as my S550 goes; I've had the Steeda coilovers and am now on Ridetech. The...
I am positive the perches won't as they are only 2.5". Someone might be able to order the correct perches from vorshlag, but I am not positive if any other parts would need to be changed in order for that to work.
That's just the thing, the car (1LE) is not in anyway built to race in a straight line so anyone who thinks in terms of roll racing, drag racing etc would not understand the appeal of the 1LE.
The car is built for a track not a strip if that makes sense. it is a car refined for a road course...
