This has happened to me http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=86513 Have you completely removed the little plastic cover from the drivers door handle? Retrieve your emergency key either the single supplied with the car or carefully break open a key fob and there is a key inside...
  6. Possible to run two OBD devices?

Yes there is a hidden extra port that looks like an OBD port on the Mustang. The target area is only two meters wide. It's a small thermal exhaust port, right below the main port. The shaft leads directly to the reactor system. A precise hit will ...
  7. Mustang 5.0 Jump Start - Problem Solved

Mystery Solved Previously the battery on the Mustang seemed to be going flat after a few days standing parked up but today the Mustang has been standing for exactly 1 week without running so it was a good time to test if the battery was holding out. The first sign of good news to come was...
  8. Mystery cracked windscreen.

At the time Autoglass didn't have an aftermarket glass. As I said at the time... I expect that most windscreen jobs cost less than the £75.00 insurance excess. Do you really need to replace it straightaway? Is there a legal issue driving with a cracked windscreen even in the drivers...

  13. Mustang 5.0 Jump Start - Problem Solved

I'm not sure what you mean. I couldn't test it in advance of getting a flat battery but when the battery was flat to the point that central locking didn't work the jump start did start the engine.
  14. Mustang 5.0 Jump Start - Problem Solved

The AA measured the current using an induction loop so it may not be an accurate 2 Amps but it the load is enough to flatten the battery after a few days. I have previously left the Mustang standing for several weeks with no issue so it is a recent development. Another possibility is the...
  15. Mustang 5.0 Jump Start - Problem Solved

With the ignition off something is drawing a couple of amps but what could it be? I do have a tracker fitted but I don't know where it is located or what it looks like. When I was hardwiring the dashcam I did find a soldered splice already made into the wiring loom near the internal fuse box...
